Capital Projects Manager

The role is responsible for leading the optimisation of performance across capital projects, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of project assurance functions.

This includes management of project advice, lessons learnt, knowledge sharing platforms and processes, as well as supporting reporting and analytics that drive program improvements.

Assurance at this level is embedded into project planning and delivery, providing constructive advice to project teams using internal and external subject matter experts.

The successful candidate will lead a team managing review processes and associated reporting, requiring highly developed stakeholder engagement and management skills.

In addition, the role involves leading engagement with cross-government policies and issues impacting on infrastructure delivery agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing assurance or performance improvement initiatives across complex capital programs
  • Influencing senior stakeholders to adopt risk mitigation strategies in challenging environments
  • Leading multidisciplinary teams towards achieving high-quality outcomes
  • Developing and guiding teams through continuous improvement cycles
  • Ensuring alignment with organisational goals and best practices
