Job Description

This role involves performing and coordinating service activities related to our equipment, including Metso Analyzer Installed Base, Particle Size Analysers (PSI) and Elemental Analysers (Courier) related spares.

The successful applicant will provide hands-on service work on Metso Mineral Processing Analytical Equipment in the field at various customer sites. This includes providing technical liaison services between customers, product divisions, and sales personnel.

In addition to this, other key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical support to customers in conjunction with our sales team.
  • Performing technical evaluations and analysing equipment and machine component failures.
  • Supervising and overseeing projects on customer sites.
  • Completing field machine inspections per global and customer procedures.
  • Escalating questions and analysis to Technical Support and Engineering.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with Programable Logic Controller & Distributed Control Systems advantageous.
  • High-level fault-finding aptitude.
  • Intermediate computer literacy in MS Office – Word and Excel.
  • A current motor vehicle license.
  • Physical fitness and ability to pass random medical and drug tests.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics.
  • Ability to work away from home for extended periods and extended hours.
