Our client, That's Alotta Donuts, is a locally renowned bakery specialising in handcrafted donuts, pastries, and baked goods made fresh daily. With a focus on quality, creativity, and consistency, the business has built a loyal customer base across both retail and wholesale channels. Their Somerton production facility is a fast-paced, high-volume environment where attention to detail, flavour innovation, and presentation are key. This is an opportunity to join a passionate team dedicated to delivering indulgent products that delight customers.

Minimum Requirements:
AQF Certificate III in Baking with at least 1 year of full-time baking experience in a commercial setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, mix, and bake doughs for bread, pastries, donuts, and specialty baked goods according to recipes and production schedules
Operate and monitor bakery equipment including mixers, proofers, and ovens to ensure consistency and quality
Regulate oven temperatures, baking times, and processes to achieve desired results
Decorate and finish gourmet donuts to meet brand presentation standards
Develop and trial new flavours and seasonal products in line with company offerings
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and packaging, and liaise with suppliers for timely replenishment
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all bakery equipment, utensils, and workspaces in compliance with health and safety standards
Assist in training junior staff on recipes, techniques, and company-specific standards
Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily wholesale and retail order targets

Skills Required:
Expertise in dough handling, proofing, and baking
Strong skills in decorative finishing and presentation of baked goods
Ability to innovate with flavours while maintaining product consistency
Familiarity with high-volume production environments
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Strong teamwork and communication abilities
Creative flair and passion for delivering premium baked products
