Blow Moulder Operator

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Blow Moulder Operator to join our Production team. This is a permanent full-time role that offers excellent career progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure bottle stock is rotated and stock levels are adequate to cover production requirements.
  • Minimise wastage including product, packaging, process inputs, time, and chemicals.
  • Report excessive wastage to the relevant person.
  • Assist in maintaining regulatory, quality, and safety systems through the completion of operating logs, downtime recording, Cleaning in Practice (CIP) testing, and recording.
Requirements
  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Experience in a dairy food manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.
  • High level of attention to detail, good fault-finding/trouble-shooting skills.
  • Strong focus on quality and hygiene.
  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles - desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills including good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Ability to follow procedures and undertake quality checks.
  • Strong focus towards health and safety.
  • Experience performing labour-intensive and repetitive tasks.
