About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Director, Professional Services to lead our APAC delivery team in a high-growth software company successfully challenging the status quo of the database industry.

As a key member of our team, you will work in a collaborative environment with delivery professionals among the best in their fields, developing the leadership and professional capabilities of your team.

You will work with some of the most ambitious and complex global companies to support and drive their innovation initiatives across every vertical.

MongoDB consulting exists to support the development of our customers' vision, accelerate customers' time to value, and drive a multitude of customer adoption scenarios - from building new solutions to modernizing legacy applications or migrating to cloud.

Our consulting solutions ensure that organizations get the best out of MongoDB.

This role will be based remotely in Sydney.

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for the APAC services revenue targets, while holding self and MongoDB to a high standard of customer experience.
  • Lead an organization responsible for deliberate and material influencing of customer consumption rates.
  • Establish and maintain a culture of mutual accountability between PS and customers.
  • Partner with other field teams (Sales, Customer Success, Support, Pre-Sales) for continuous improvement of our customer engagement methodologies.
  • Support MongoDB teams in the management of risk throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Responsible for developing the capabilities and maturity of the leaders on your team.
  • Ensure healthy relationships with the MongoDB delivery ecosystem in your region (BSIs, sub-partners, remote delivery center, training, etc.) to maintain complementary delivery capacity, and with global system integrators for delivery of large engagements.
  • Owner of all delivery assets, tools, capabilities, systems, processes and playbooks.
  • Proactively maintain a robust recruiting pipeline, attracting the highest quality talent in the industry to support excellence and rapid growth.
  • Collaborating with other functions across the region as a key partner to services strategy development and execution.
Success Measures
  • Achieve and beat regional revenue targets.
  • Meaningfully and deliberately drive consumption in our customers through high-quality services engagements.
  • Identify and manage leading indicators that indicate deliberate behaviors that help to accelerate customer consumption.
  • Successful evolution of the capability of the APAC services team - scalability of team, capacity, and delivery excellence.
  • Lead an APAC Delivery team increasingly capable of delivering complex projects.
  • Lead an APAC Delivery team increasingly effective at influencing customer decisions.
