About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Director to lead our Sydney office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert analysis and guidance on structured finance transactions and covered bonds.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Rating new transactions, including reviewing new asset classes and issuers;
  • Ensuring all structured finance transactions/covered bonds programmes are reviewed on a continuous 12-month schedule;
  • Performing data analysis in Excel and executing Fitch generated models;
  • Preparing analytical documentation based on Fitch templates;
  • Presentation of analytical documentation and communication of comments and opinions in committee effectively;
  • Preparation of press releases based on Fitch templates;
  • Providing timely market/transaction performance commentary;
  • Managing queries from issuers/bankers/investors – representing Fitch and communicating effectively with external transaction parties;
  • Participating in originator/servicer review meetings;
  • Ad-hoc projects/reporting and authoring reports.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • An undergraduate degree in a finance-related discipline;
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of structured finance experience from an issuer, arranger or trustee (preference in a credit or analytical related role) where the role required;
  • Intermediate Excel skills with knowledge of functions such as VLOOKUP(), SUMIF(), IF(), INDEX(), MATCH() etc.;
  • Strong time management skills and a high level of attention to detail.

We offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated annual salary of $180,000 - $220,000 AUD, depending on experience. You will also have opportunities for professional growth and development within our organisation.
