Key Payroll Professional Role

About the Key Payroll Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our payroll team. As a key member, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payrolls, as well as handling requests and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prompt processing of weekly/fortnightly payrolls is crucial.
  • Accurate handling of payroll requests, such as new hires and changes, requires attention to detail.
  • End-of-month reporting, reconciliation, and payments must be completed efficiently.
  • Automation opportunities should be identified to streamline processes.
  • Oversight of venue-specific payroll functions, including employee onboarding and tax reconciliations, is necessary.

General Responsibilities:

  • Staying updated on compliance and industry trends is essential.
  • Departmental policies and quality standards must be adhered to.
  • Contributing to identifying client needs is vital.
  • Maintaining professional relationships is important.
  • Compliance with legislation and company policies is mandatory.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Payroll Services delivery is required.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and superannuation is necessary.
  • Familiarity with accounting processes is beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with Micropay software is highly valued.
