About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding position within our institution, reporting directly to the Payroll Manager.

We are seeking a highly experienced payroll professional with expertise in Aurion and strong attention to detail.

The successful candidate will deliver timely and accurate end-to-end processing of fortnightly payroll, ensuring compliance with all Modern Award Payroll requirements and relevant legislation.

  • Ensure accurate and timely payment of wages and salaries.
  • Deliver timely and accurate end-to-end processing of fortnightly payroll.
  • Calculate and prepare manual payments, including terminations, adjustments, and redundancies.
  • Respond to and resolve queries raised by employees, the finance team, and department managers.
  • Perform end-of-month and end-of-year processing.
  • Reconcile and administer deductions, superannuation, and payroll tax.
