Payroll Manager Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll. This involves overseeing the fortnightly payroll and out-of-cycle payrolls, as well as developing and reviewing payroll policies, procedures, and work flows.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and payroll tax obligations
  • Supervise, coach, and develop a high-performing customer-centric payroll team
  • Ensure a high level of customer service is practiced and maintained

Requirements

  • Current knowledge of general payroll practices, procedures, and operations, and related legislation
  • Familiarity with payroll software and time-and-attendance systems, particularly Payroll Metrics, and strong Excel skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Enterprise Agreements, Modern Awards, and other state and industry legislation, Payroll tax, and WorkCover legislation across multiple jurisdictions
