This is an exciting opportunity for a recent engineering graduate to join our team as a Structural Engineer.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to work on-site and assist with structural and civil design of residential projects. As part of our team, you will conduct forensic inspections and investigations of residential properties, prepare detailed reports based on site observations and engineering assessments, and liaise with clients, builders, and insurers, providing clear technical advice.

You will have the opportunity to develop your technical and practical skills in a supportive environment, working alongside experienced engineers who will guide and mentor you throughout your career.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct forensic inspections and investigations of residential properties (approx. 30%)
  • Prepare detailed reports based on site observations and engineering assessments
  • Assist with structural and civil design of residential projects (approx. 70%)
  • Liaise with clients, builders, and insurers, providing clear technical advice
  • Perform structural calculations using ClearCalcs
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD drafting
  • Familiarity with ClearCalcs or similar engineering software
  • Excellent written communication and report writing skills
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence
