Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to be a key contributor in delivering exceptional food service to patients and customers.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve meals and beverages in accordance with dietary requirements and standards.
  • Assist with basic food preparation under the direction of experienced cooks and chefs.
  • Deliver and collect menus, food trays, and beverages.
  • Maintain cleanliness within the department according to Food Safety Plan and HACCP standards.
  • Support the catering team with stock management and daily operations.
  • Work across a rotating 7-day roster, including morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.

Key Performance Indicators: Patient satisfaction, food safety, and efficient delivery of services.

  • Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and WHS practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, professional manner.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and evenings.
