
Principal Compliance Officer

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the maintenance and upkeep of a comprehensive obligations library to ensure its relevance and effectiveness.
- Develop and execute breach assessment processes for all incidents, identifying areas for improvement.
- Design and implement conflicts of interest plans for senior leaders, highlighting relevant interests and duties while minimizing potential conflicts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering collaboration within the compliance function.
- Prepare and present detailed compliance updates to senior management and relevant committees, ensuring timely and accurate information exchange.
- Promote the overall effectiveness of the compliance function by driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in business-related disciplines.
- Extensive experience in compliance or legal functions within the financial services industry, preferably in superannuation, with 3-5 years in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance practices in superannuation and global fund management.

- Deep knowledge of compliance and risk frameworks, enabling effective regulatory assessments and change project implementation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey compliance requirements and foster strong relationships across the organization.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, promoting a proactive approach to compliance.
