Content Visionary

The role of Content Visionary involves leading a team of content producers to create innovative solutions for commercial clients across multiple brands.

As the expert on branded content within our organisation, you will be responsible for promoting it externally when required.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with other managers under the Director of Powered Studios to ensure client service is at the forefront.

You will contribute to our business objectives by assisting with 'go-to-market' initiatives and providing advice on content.

Leading weekly working groups will keep your team on track, while troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Working closely with product managers will keep you informed about site innovations, and you will provide feedback on campaigns.

You will assist with new product relationships and collaborate on requirements for the branded content team.

Working with talent will help meet client objectives, while engaging our audience.

Being an expert in our audiences and inspiring the team with compelling content ideas is crucial in this role.

Collaborating with key stakeholders will ensure content meets client and brand standards.

Securing editorial and social support and reporting on finished campaigns will also be part of your responsibilities.

Reporting on campaigns and assisting in providing rationale for case studies and post-campaign reports will round out your tasks.

Finally, you will work on pitches and sold jobs alongside content producers, attending brainstorms, creating pitch documents, commissioning stories, processing invoices, editing, and publishing content.

Team Leadership

  • Manage a team of content producers across varying levels of seniority.
  • Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and work closely with each team member to formulate their development plan.
  • Manage leave according to annual leave and volunteer leave entitlements.
  • Recruit, hire, and mentor new team members to create a high-performing team.
  • Foster collaboration between branded content team members and other teams within the organisation.

Qualifications

Essential qualifications, experience, and skills:

  • 5+ years relevant media experience, including leading staff.
  • A deep understanding of our product suite and its audience.
  • Ability to generate imaginative ideas, copy, and content to solve clients' problems and engage the right people.
  • Experience in writing, editing, and publishing high-quality online content.
  • Established leadership experience.
  • Ability to forge strong relationships with key stakeholders.
