
Hospitality Team Lead

We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to lead our team in a hands-on position that requires leading by example and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
This role involves overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the venue, including staff management, customer service, and facility maintenance. The successful applicant will have full availability, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Lead and manage your team to ensure exceptional service and high-quality results
- Report daily operational issues and information to facilitate informed decision-making
- Liaise with Management on operational matters to drive success
- Motivate and demonstrate leadership skills to enhance staff enthusiasm and productivity
- Ensure the smooth opening and closing of the venue - including TAB, Keno, Gaming and cash reconciliation
- Effectively resolve conflicts with staff and customers in a fair and respectful manner
Suitable candidates will possess:
- Proven leadership experience and ability to motivate and build a high-performing team
- A minimum of 2 years' management experience, preferably in a hospitality setting
- Exceptional customer service skills to deliver an outstanding experience
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements and safe work practices to maintain a secure environment
- The ability to solve problems and think critically in high-pressure situations
- A high level of integrity and respect for confidentiality to maintain trust and discretion
- Certification in RSA, RCG & Advanced RCG to ensure compliance and expertise
- A First Aid certificate (preferred but not essential) to demonstrate commitment to staff well-being
