Job Title: Duty Manager

We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to lead our team in a hands-on position that requires leading by example and thriving in a fast-paced environment.

This role involves overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the venue, including staff management, customer service, and facility maintenance. The successful applicant will have full availability, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

  • Lead and manage your team to ensure exceptional service and high-quality results
  • Report daily operational issues and information to facilitate informed decision-making
  • Liaise with Management on operational matters to drive success
  • Motivate and demonstrate leadership skills to enhance staff enthusiasm and productivity
  • Ensure the smooth opening and closing of the venue - including TAB, Keno, Gaming and cash reconciliation
  • Effectively resolve conflicts with staff and customers in a fair and respectful manner

Suitable candidates will possess:

  • Proven leadership experience and ability to motivate and build a high-performing team
  • A minimum of 2 years' management experience, preferably in a hospitality setting
  • Exceptional customer service skills to deliver an outstanding experience
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements and safe work practices to maintain a secure environment
  • The ability to solve problems and think critically in high-pressure situations
  • A high level of integrity and respect for confidentiality to maintain trust and discretion
  • Certification in RSA, RCG & Advanced RCG to ensure compliance and expertise
  • A First Aid certificate (preferred but not essential) to demonstrate commitment to staff well-being
