Are you an experienced Registered Nurse seeking a challenging role in the field of alcohol and drug services? We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team in Ulverstone, North West Tasmania.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality alcohol and drug services as part of the team, including consultation, education, and treatment options for those with substance addiction, particularly Opioid Dependency.
- Travel to provide outreach services, consultation, and education to clients in need.
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse is essential.
- A minimum of [X] years of experience as a registered nurse with demonstrated clinical expertise in the contemporary treatment of complex clients around substance use and/or mental health within a multidisciplinary setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based practice used in the treatment and prevention of alcohol and other drug dependence, including assessment, harm minimisation framework, interventions, and prevention activities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, consultation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills are highly desirable.
