Job Title: Manager Lending Services

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a portfolio of high-risk agricultural customers to achieve balanced and sustainable outcomes for all parties involved.
  2. Develop relationships with advisors, including lawyers and insolvency practitioners, to assist with account strategy implementation.
  3. Maintain open communication with stakeholders within the organization regarding customer strategies and manage provisions to prevent any unexpected outcomes.
  4. Establish a highly respected function that supports frontline staff in managing their higher-risk customers and earns the lending service the reputation of a 'Trusted Advisor'.
  5. Maintain a well-managed portfolio through effective monitoring and risk assessment.

Requirements:

  1. Possess resilience and curiosity, enabling challenging discussions with customers.
  2. Demonstrate strong financial analysis and credit assessment skills, along with a solid understanding of business, economic, and legal issues.
  3. Showcase sound problem-solving and negotiation skills to achieve optimal results.
  4. Hold tertiary qualifications in a business, finance, or commerce discipline, which would be advantageous.
