At ESTEE LAUDER Companies, we are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Director to lead our Retail HR team in Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to drive business growth and support employee relations activities across the region.

About the Role

The Human Resources Director for Retail Operations will partner closely with the ANZ HR team to develop and implement strategies that align with our company's short and long-term business priorities.

This role involves:

  • Leading the formulation and implementation of the Retail HR strategy and programs
  • Partnering directly with the Commercial team to support all employee-related matters
  • Managing the Retail HR team to ensure they achieve their goals and maximize their potential
  • Collaborating with Senior HR Manager and Retail HR Executives to identify and build out talent plans across our Point of Sales teams
  • E nsuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies during the hiring process
  • Serving as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and resolution

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $150,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a bonus scheme linked to individual contributions and company performance.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A background in Human Resources with a Bachelor degree in area of specialty or equivalent experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with ambiguity
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and present information on best practices
  • Ideal 5+ years of working experience within the retail industry
