Role Summary

We are seeking a passionate Early Years Support Specialist to partner with families, staff and community services to strengthen early transitions and set the foundation for lifelong learning.

The successful candidate will have experience working with families in the early years of schooling and demonstrate a strong understanding of early childhood education and child development.

  • Build trusting relationships with families to support smooth transition into Prep.
  • Help establish positive patterns of attendance, behaviour and engagement in learning.
  • Connect families with government and non-government agencies to reduce barriers to participation.
  • Support vulnerable children, including those with disability, First Nations children, and children in care.

The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the school's Student Support Services team to respond to student and family needs. They will also promote inclusion and early intervention to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.
