A skilled Solutions Engineer is a crucial role in our organization's presales team. This individual empowers organizations to stay ahead of evolving threats.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute independently in presales with guidance, solving complex problems and making proactive decisions. Mentor team members and coordinate activities for career development.
- Win sales opportunities, sell cybersecurity products, run custom proof-of-concepts, and maintain pipeline hygiene to drive revenue growth.
- Position the value proposition and tailor presentations for different audiences; work towards product specialist depth and contribute to sales, proof-of-concept strategy, and technical initiatives.
- Participate in initial meetings, review pipeline and proof-of-concept success, and workload to drive quota attainment; identify and communicate deal opportunities; share real-world customer success stories.
- Perform discovery across the cybersecurity platform to feed into proof-of-concept success criteria; assist your POD on deal qualification; strategize deals using the MEDDPPIC framework; utilize MEDDPPIC metrics and generate customer metrics as needed.
- Ensure smooth handoffs and collaboration with internal teams; provide product depth across all products and pursue breadth in troubleshooting, integrations, and custom setups; understand how the platform ties together and the workflows for standard and non-standard product uses.
- Gain product depth and breadth, speak at regional marketing events, and obtain cloud certification.
- Minimum 3 years in presales experience.
- Demonstrated pipeline hygiene skills.
- Deep knowledge of security industry products and terminology.
- Completed all internal certifications.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred.
- Seniority level: Mid-Senior level.
