Cybersecurity Analyst Role

Thales is a global leader in cybersecurity and security solutions. As a Graduate Security Analyst, you will be part of our Tesserent team, working on the protection of digital assets for clients across Australia and New Zealand.

About This Role

This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and participate in protecting high-profile clients from cyber threats.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and Analysis: Track and analyze security alerts from various tools such as SIEM, EDR, SOAR, Canaries, and Firewalls.
  • Threat Identification and Response: Identify potential threats, recommend fixes, and coordinate responses with internal and external teams.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Write clear reports and perform quality checks on playbooks and documentation.
  • Team Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with peers and clients to ensure smooth teamwork and support.
  • Process Improvement: Help improve tools and processes, while staying up to date with cybersecurity trends.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven leadership skills through work, internships, or extracurriculars.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
  • Strong presentation and client-facing skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with experience in evaluating security incidents.
  • Self-driven learner with proficiency in MS Office and digital tools.
Additional Requirements
  • Australian Defence security clearance is required for this role.
  • Applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
