Strategic Project Leader

Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to oversee and manage the successful delivery of initiatives and streams of work within a large-scale project, ensuring alignment with operational and strategic goals. This involves leading the development and delivery of various initiatives in collaboration with senior stakeholders and coordinating detailed project plans across multiple workstreams.

Key responsibilities include directing and monitoring project activity, adjusting work allocation and timelines to ensure milestones, deliverables, and quality standards are consistently achieved. Additionally, the Program Manager will identify and manage project interdependencies across the organization, coordinating with relevant teams to mitigate impacts and enable alignment.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to adapt in a diverse environment and range of stakeholders. They will also have exceptional time management/organisational skills and be able to establish strong, effective working relationships.

Required skills and qualifications include relevant tertiary qualifications and/or significant experience in similar roles, with substantial proven experience in programs and/or Project Management, of which 5 years has been in a management role. The candidate must also have sound financial literacy skills, including the ability to forecast and manage budgets.
