Work Placement Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Work Placement Coordinator to fill this key role.

This is a full-time position responsible for delivering academic services, providing student support, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Provide timely and fair feedback to students on their work
  • Maintain student records and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements
  • Assist students in finding work placements
  • Participate in trainer's meetings, as required
  • Read and familiarise self with all organisational requirements
  • Meet the needs of individual students through the integration of access and equity guidelines
  • Work alongside intervention strategies and counselling of students with Student Support Department and Academic Department as directed by Campus Manager
  • Participate in the student complaints and appeals process, as required
  • Educate students on their responsibilities under Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) in the workplace
  • Maintain a high standard of dress, conduct and attitude from all students, and be an exemplary role model

**Requirements:

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Working with Children Check (where applicable)
