Exercise Scientist Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished Exercise Scientist to play a pivotal role in our rehabilitation environment, providing science-driven client training supervision and strength assessments.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting one-on-one and group training sessions, strength assessments, and movement analysis with clients on the training floor
  • Applying scientific concepts such as biomechanics, physiology, sports psychology, and motor control to support clients' needs
  • Providing evidence-based advice on health, fitness, well-being, and physical performance
  • Developing and implementing exercise prescriptions and plans for clients
  • Establishing, assessing, and reassessing goals for new and long-term clients
  • Guiding athletes or clients to achieve peak performance and recover from injury
  • Maintaining administrative duties
  • Delivering high-quality service in accordance with established standards
About You

We are looking for a qualified candidate with:

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise/Sports Science or a related field with relevant coursework, including physiology and anatomy, biomechanics/human movement, or exercise programming/prescription
  • Relevant placement/practicum experience in exercise prescription
  • Valid working rights in Australia
  • First Aid & CPR Certification
  • Working with Children Check
  • National Police Check
  • Desirable: 1-3 years relevant work experience, private practice experience, and experience in long-term client management in strength training
