Water and Sanitation Specialist Role

This project requires a professional with expertise in water management and sanitation to work alongside local communities in northern Peru.

The specialist will be responsible for implementing sustainable projects focused on improving access to clean water and sanitation facilities.

Job Description:
  • Develop and implement sustainable solutions for wastewater treatment and disposal.
  • Collaborate with local communities to design and build sanitation facilities, including dry toilets and biodigesters.
  • Conduct research on the feasibility of using seawater as a source of freshwater through desalination techniques.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Background or interest in water management and sanitation.
  • Experience working with communities and NGOs preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with diverse groups.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
