Sterilisation Department Specialist

Role Overview:
The Sterilisation Services Attendant is an integral part of our hospital's supply chain, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of medical equipment, reusable devices, consumables, and anaesthetic gear.
About the Position:
- Contribute to a cohesive team environment that caters to diverse consumer needs.
- Pursue ongoing training and maintain relevant skills and knowledge.
- Reprocess reusable medical instruments in accordance with AS5369:2023 standards.
- Monitor, report, and document any equipment malfunctions or non-compliance issues.
About You:
- AQF Certificate 3 in Sterilisation Services or equivalent, coupled with at least 560 hours of satisfactory service experience within a sterile supply department.
- Ability to interpret complex instructions and procedures.
- Experience working individually or as a team member in a multi-disciplinary setting.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, safe care aligned with National Safety and Quality Health Care Service Standards.
Please note: This role may be classified as WHA3, WHA4, or WHA5 based on qualifications and experience.
