Investigator Opportunity

We are seeking an individual who thrives on uncovering the truth, driving change, and making a real impact in the lives of children and people with disability.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead investigations into serious incidents, complaints, and allegations—ranging from abuse and neglect to restrictive practices and WHS matters.
  • Gather and analyse evidence with precision, empathy, and procedural fairness.
  • Engage with regulatory bodies like the NDIS Commission, Child Protection, Ombudsman, and WorkSafe.
  • Deliver clear, trauma-informed reports and outcome letters that drive corrective action.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying trends and embedding safer practices across services.

Key Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Government (Investigations) or equivalent (desirable)
  • Tertiary qualifications in social work, disability, child protection, or related fields
  • Experience in investigations within OOHC, disability, or health sectors
  • Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding, quality, and professional growth
