Job Title: Quality Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Quality Specialist to join our team in a full-time role. As a Quality Specialist, you will play a crucial part in protecting vulnerable individuals and improving care standards across Australia.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations into serious incidents, complaints, and allegations to ensure the highest standards of quality and care.
  • Analyse evidence with precision, empathy, and procedural fairness to inform decisions and drive corrective action.
  • Engage with various regulatory bodies, including the NDIS Commission, Child Protection, Ombudsman, and WorkSafe, to ensure compliance and cooperation.
  • Deliver clear, trauma-informed reports and outcome letters that drive meaningful change and improvement.
  • Support the development of safer practices across services by identifying trends and implementing effective solutions.
Requirements
  • A Certificate IV in Government (Investigations) or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
  • Tertiary qualifications in social work, disability, child protection, or related fields are essential for this role.
  • Proven experience in investigations within OOHC, disability, or health sectors is necessary for success.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills are critical for effective performance.
  • A commitment to safeguarding, quality, and professional growth is essential for this role.
National Requirements
  • A National Police Check is mandatory for this position.
  • A Working with Children Check is also required.
  • An NDIS Workers Screening Check is necessary for working with vulnerable populations.
