Job Overview

The Service Person will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results. This role is based at Prominent Hill located in South Australia, with a roster of 8/6 7/7.

This position requires strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure safe and efficient delivery of maintenance services.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional who can contribute to our team's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out refuelling, shift servicing, and scheduled servicing of maintenance and plant & equipment in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
  • Assist trades people in the washing, servicing, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment and associated components as directed.
  • Ensure lubricant sampling is carried out in accordance with Thiess Environmental and Safety Management Systems.
  • Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of machinery / equipment non-conformance, identify and record any machinery / equipment quality problems.
  • Source technical information from relevant reference manuals, technical bulletins and QA service documentation.
  • Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.
About You
  • Minimum of two years' experience working as a Serviceperson.
  • HR driver's licence preferable.
  • Demonstrated experience working in the mining and heavy earthmoving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry.
