Job Title:

Heavy Diesel Fitter/Trade Assistant - Ongoing Role with View to Permanency

\

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team in a full-time ongoing role. As part of our heavy industrial trades group, you will be responsible for providing repairs and maintenance to mining machinery and equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Maintenance and repair of engines, pumps, and other critical components of mining machinery.\
  • Collaboration with Boilermakers, Fitters, and other trades personnel to ensure seamless operation of large-scale machinery.\
  • Working Monday to Friday on a full-time basis.\
  • Prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and ensuring maximum uptime of equipment.\
  • Developing and implementing effective maintenance plans to prevent downtime.\
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and reporting any issues or concerns.\
  • Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.\
  • Adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times.\

Requirements:

  • \
  • Current Mechanic Fitter Trade Certificate.\
  • Forklift Licence (highly regarded).\
  • Background in Mining/Oil & Gas industry with experience working with Cat & Hitachi machinery (highly regarded).\
