Loader Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our team in Adelaide.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating loaders and other heavy equipment, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures. They must be able to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate loaders and other heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring proper distribution and balance.
  • Excavate trenches and pits as instructed.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment as required.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Assist with other duties on the construction site as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience operating loaders or similar heavy equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work overtime.
