Lead Fraud Operations and Analytics Specialist

About the Role:
Australian Payments Plus is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our Fraud Operations and Analytics team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and integrity of our payment systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of experts in fraud detection and prevention, ensuring the highest level of engagement and motivation.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate fraud and scams, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential risks and threats to our payment systems.
- Provide subject matter expertise on fraud trends and industry best practices, ensuring our organization remains at the forefront of payment security.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, board members, and external partners.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the payments industry or a related field, with a focus on fraud and scams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of payment systems, technology, and infrastructure, as well as data platforms and conceptual risk and control frameworks.
