About the Role

As a key member of our Psychiatry Training Network, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality medical education and training programs that shape the future of psychiatry across our district.

In this position, you will provide administrative support to the Medical Education Support Officer, Director of Training, and Director of Prevocational Training. You will also assist the Director of Prevocational Training with accreditation requirements, ensuring seamless logistics and documentation for junior medical staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing on-the-ground support during training sessions.
  • Managing attendance records, feedback systems, databases, and filing.
  • Drafting correspondence, agendas, and minutes when required.
  • Overseeing invoicing, reimbursements, and other financial functions.
  • Supporting accreditation activities and prevocational JMO rostering.
A Typical Week May Include
  • Monday: Orientation (every 10 weeks) for new JMOs.
  • Wednesday: Support grand rounds (1–2:30pm) and psychiatry formal education sessions (2:30–5pm).
  • Thursday: Facilitate JMO psychiatry education sessions (3–5pm).
  • Friday & other weekdays: General administrative duties, rostering, and team meetings.
