Job Description

The Administration Officer will provide administrative support to the Psychiatry Training Network. This role is responsible for coordinating training sessions, managing attendance records and feedback systems, drafting correspondence and agendas, and overseeing financial functions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating orientation for new junior medical officers (JMOs)
  • Supporting grand rounds and psychiatry formal education sessions
  • Facilitating JMO psychiatry education sessions
  • General administrative duties, rostering, and team meetings

This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a busy and dynamic environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, applicants must have:

  • Demonstrated experience in high-level administrative support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • A customer-focused approach and conflict resolution skills
  • Knowledge of RANZCP, HETI, AHPRA, and NSW Health processes
