Job Opportunity

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Prioritise safety in all aspects of asset management.
  • Oversee agreements, reviews, insurances, and debtor management.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with lease terms.
  • Assist in developing and implementing leasing policies and maintaining accurate records.
  • Prepare invoices and follow up on outstanding payments for licences and leases.
  • Work with colleagues to ensure accurate on-charging of utilities to lessees.
  • Provide support and guidance regarding asset management and compliance.
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience in property or asset management within a government or corporate environment.
  • Sound knowledge of real estate laws, leasing practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and property management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills in asset and contract management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Professional, organised, and customer-focused with strong teamwork and discretion.
  • A current driver's licence.
Desirable
  • Previous experience in local government or public sector property management.
  • Experience using technology systems.
