About the Role- Partner with the project team to provide assurance, risk management, and leadership on health and safety matters.
- Represent the company's interests in project meetings and workshops.
- Work closely with the project team to ensure health and safety expectations are monitored and met.
- Promote a high-performing, positive, and proactive workplace health and safety culture.
- Take a proactive approach to health and safety risk mitigation, ensuring compliance with plans, policies, and legislation requirements.
- Provide advice, support, coaching, and mentoring to promote a strong culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Previous experience as an HSE Principal on a construction project is essential.
- Relevant trade qualifications, such as Civil/Electrical/Mechanical, or certifications in Workplace Health and Safety.
- Working knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation, standards, and Code of Practice in Victoria.
