Role Overview

This position plays a vital part in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests at a premium hotel location.

About the Position

The Food & Beverage Attendant will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere at the bar, restaurant, room service, conferences, and events. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of food and excellent customer service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Greet and seat guests; assist with seating arrangements and provide menus.
  • Take orders; describe menu items, answer questions, note special requests and dietary restrictions.
  • Serve food and beverages; ensure presentation and timeliness.
  • Check on guests to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation; clear tables, reset and restock as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen team; communicate orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Handle payments; present bills and process payments accurately.
  • Upsell and promote additional menu items and beverages.
  • Handle guest requests and accommodate needs to the best of your ability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage items, including wine and cocktails (training provided).
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
