Job Title: Mechanical Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced mechanical specialist to join our team in Western Australia. As a mechanical specialist, you will be responsible for performing a range of tasks including truck wheelbase and chassis modifications, assembly of new truck and trailer equipment builds, and maintenance of mobile mining and transport equipment.
Duties:
- Modifying trucks to optimize their performance and efficiency
- Assembling new equipment to meet client needs
- Assembling and modifying drill rigs, support trucks, auxiliary trucks, rod loaders, and associated drilling-based equipment
- Performing regular servicing, repair, and maintenance on mobile mining and transport equipment
- Completing general maintenance, breakdowns, services, and component change-outs
Requirements:
- Trade qualification with expertise in mechanical engineering
- Proven experience in body building and manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with drill rigs and heavy machinery
- Valid forklift license and Australian driver's license
- Ability to pass a full medical and drug and alcohol screen
