The Role:

As an Experienced Estimator for JV Recruitment, you will be responsible for preparing detailed quotation requests for suppliers and major contractors, completing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for labour and materials, and analysing and reviewing cost breakdowns to ensure they align with project budgets. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing detailed quotation requests for suppliers and major contractors
  • Completing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for labour and materials
  • Analysing and reviewing cost breakdowns, ensuring they align with project budgets
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and profitability

Requirements:
  • Strong experience in Construction Industry - minimum 5 years
  • Production Estimating experience is essential
  • Proven experience in estimating within medium-density, residential, or commercial construction; experience with Childcare projects is a significant advantage
  • Tertiary Education is required for this role
  • High level of proficiency in DataBuild, PlanSwift and MS Office (Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects with precision
  • A collaborative mindset, thriving in a fast-paced, high-achieving team environment
