Drive Success in APAC Sales
Job DescriptionAs a seasoned sales leader, you will be responsible for leading our Corporate and Enterprise Account Executives in the APAC region. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact as we approach a pre-IPO future.
This is a hybrid role based in Sydney with co-working days at our Sussex and Castlereagh space on Mondays and Thursdays. You'll be collaborating in person at least twice a week during core days, contributing to our dynamic culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Sales Development, Product, and other interfacing teams to drive success and prioritize resource allocation.
- Lead weekly pipeline meetings and mentor Account Executives on strategies to manage their pipeline, accurately forecast, and attain monthly & quarterly goals.
- Develop a high-performing sales team (5 AE's and 2 BDR's) to support revenue targets for the business across the region all based out of Sydney HQ.
- Work closely with the APJ VP & Sales Enablement to identify strengths and areas of development for Account Executives based on current skills, processes, and knowledge.
- Monitor teams sales performance: activity, pipelines, monthly forecasts, and closed-deals to ensure quota attainment.
- Become a proficient coach and mentor for members of the sales team, sharing your expertise through hands-on training and support.
Requirements
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience and passion for coaching and mentoring sales team members.
- 10+yrs of quota carrying sales experience as an Account Executive + Sales Manager in high growth SaaS/technology orgs with a demonstrated track record of exceeding targets.
- Strong track record managing various size & complexity of deals and negotiating, structuring and executing complex sales agreements within Enterprise Segments.
- Experience working with Customers and Partners across APAC.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A leader that is comfortable being hands on (e.g. attending prospect/customer calls and supporting executive alignment).
- Successful experience of growing teams and SaaS Start Up experience is preferred.
- Experience in scaling teams.
- Driven and ambitious for pre-IPO success.
