Job Overview:- This role involves leading strategic business growth for new customers across assigned territories.
New Business Growth Leaders will prospect, build relationships, and close sales opportunities. They will also provide excellent customer service and identify expansion opportunities.
Responsibilities:- Closing business, prospecting, and building personal relationships with a book of accounts
- Providing excellent customer service and identifying expansion opportunities
- Improving best practices around outbound prospecting and pipeline generation
- Maintaining reliable forecasts and creating transparency between pipeline and management team
- Becoming an expert in value propositions, target market, and target personas
- Developing a mentality of Teamwork Over Ego and seeking opportunities to help others
- Meeting team standards around activity, accountability, and internal cross-functional SLAs
- Minimum 1 year sales closing experience, preferably in SaaS/tech
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work in Melbourne, Australia twice a week
- Experience with software sales (prospecting & closing)
- Experience with Salesforce, leads, contacts, and opportunities
- Maintaining clean Salesforce hygiene
- Ability to manage a large number of prospects and opportunities simultaneously
- Experience with Outreach or similar workflow software
- Skilled in selling a product against direct and indirect competitors
