Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned leader to assume the role of Operations Manager within our residential building company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless project progression from sales through to construction commencement.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all operational departments
  • Take ownership of production workflows to ensure smooth job progression
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align operational output with business targets
  • Implement and refine systems and procedures to improve productivity
  • Lead and mentor departmental managers and teams
  • Maintain a strong connection between sales, construction, and finance teams
  • Monitor and assess supplier performance

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:


  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior operational or workflow leadership role
  • Proven experience in residential construction
  • Strong people management skills with experience overseeing diverse teams and functions
  • Sound knowledge of the residential building lifecycle
  • Ability to identify bottlenecks and implement change
  • Excellent organisational, decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
