Job Description">

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of day-to-day finance operations, encompassing accounts payable/receivable, payroll interface, month-end/year-end close, and annual audit.
  • Management of statutory compliance, tax reporting, and funding acquittals.
  • Support for financial systems transformation, including Sage Intacct implementation and integration with other platforms.
  • Provision of high-quality reporting, variance analysis, and insights for informed decision-making.
  • Cultivation of a high-performing finance team through coaching and development, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Nurturing of strong relationships with internal stakeholders, conveying complex financial information to non-finance audiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications">

Qualifications: CA or CPA qualification (essential).

Experience: Minimum 7 years experience in finance, including 3 years in a leadership role. Strong technical knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards (AASB 15, 1058, 16). Demonstrated experience in the NFP or human services sector, including fund/grant accounting and salary packaging. Proven ability to manage audits, financial reporting, and compliance requirements. Experience with finance system implementation (Sage Intacct or similar).

Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
