About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Talent Development Manager to join our team at Charterhouse, based in Sydney CBD. This role offers a competitive salary package of $180,000 - $200,000.

Charterhouse is a Government department that prides itself on providing innovative solutions to complex challenges. As a Strategic Talent Development Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team that drives organizational change and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • People and Culture Advisory: Provide consultancy, advice, support and guidance to managers and staff on People and Culture matters.
  • Strategy Development: Partner with executive management and stakeholders to develop and embed people and culture initiatives and solutions.
  • Change Management: Manage the development and implementation of organizational people and culture change programs that align with corporate objectives.
  • Business Coaching: Act as a trusted adviser and business coach to divisional heads on People and Culture.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Influence executive stakeholders to drive strategic and operational change initiatives.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with HR and WHS regulations, legislation and organizational policy.

Requirements

  • Senior Leadership Experience: Extensive experience in a senior People Partner role.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated skills and experience in developing and implementing people and culture strategies at a senior level.
  • Leadership Development: Experience delivering performance and capability plans, engagement initiatives and coaching on leadership and management uplift.
  • Employment Relations: Demonstrated experience managing complex employment relations matters, including Enterprise Agreement bargaining.
  • Policy Development: Experience developing, interpreting and advising on people and culture policies and planning.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder, organizational, self and priority management skills.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Sound experience dealing with a diverse range of people at all levels of the organization.
  • Forward Planning: A forward planner with the ability to dive into detail and scan the horizon for emerging opportunities.
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a relevant discipline.
  • Desirable Experience: Relevant experience in financial services industries.
