We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurse to join our team.

Aged care nursing requires strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and empathy. This role is ideal for nurses who value person-centred care and have experience in aged care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care aligned with AHPRA standards
  • Lead and support a multidisciplinary team of Enrolled Nurses and Care Assistants
  • Build and implement resident-focused care plans and assessments (including ACFI)
  • Liaise with families, doctors, and allied health professionals to coordinate care
  • Actively participate in accreditation, documentation, and continuous improvement
  • Be a champion of safety, wellbeing, and infection control in our facility

Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Understanding of aged care standards and the Residential Classification Scale
  • National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience with ACFI and aged care documentation
  • Knowledge of government aged care standards and accreditation
  • Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills
  • A genuine commitment to quality of life for older Australians
