Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing inventory accounting processes, leading month-end and year-end close activities, and providing financial analysis on inventory movements.

  • Manage inventory accounting processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant standards.">
  • Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.">
  • Monitor inventory balances and resolve discrepancies across systems and locations.">
  • Provide financial analysis on inventory movements, cost of goods sold (COGS), and stock variances.">
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate and timely inventory data.">
  • Prepare inventory reports and insights for internal stakeholders and external auditors.">
  • Support inventory controls, including stock takes and cycle counts.">
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting of inventory-related costs.">
  • Identify and implement improvements in inventory accounting and reporting processes.">
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and support audit and compliance requirements.">

Requirements:

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.">
  • CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent).">
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in financial reporting and compliance.">
  • Proficiency in using SAP and MS Excel.">
  • Experience within the retail industry or a similar fast-paced environment.">
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.">
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.">
