About this role:

Inventory Management and Store Operations

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a mid-senior level inventory management and store operations position. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, tools, and equipment to ensure fleet assets are maintained, compliant, and ready for deployment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage inventory levels, track movements, and report on stock variances, surplus or shortages.
  • Conduct and manage contractual Commonwealth stocktaking programmes, reconcile discrepancies and escalate issues such as theft or loss.
  • Track, inspect, and maintain tools and equipment, coordinating repairs and ensuring readiness.
  • Evaluate and improve inventory management systems and processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in inventory management and warehousing with strong analytical skills.
  • Valid forklift and driver's licences. (MR/HR and High-Risk Work licences desirable).
  • Proficient in SAP inventory systems, with strong record-keeping skills.
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and handling of hazardous materials.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
