Role Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Estimating Professional to join our team. As a key member, you will analyze external contractor bids to ensure client value for money, create estimates and cost plans for key client developments, and evaluate cost plans and project scopes to assess and address gaps.

The Opportunity

  • Analyze technical data to investigate and interpret complex information
  • Create accurate estimates to increase client value
  • Evaluate project costs against budget, including cost reviews and value engineering
  • Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates
  • Provide estimating expertise and leadership throughout the design and construction stages of projects
  • Build trust and credibility with partners across the business
  • Support project management through excellent cost documentation and timely communication

Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Increasing levels of scope and responsibility as an Electrical or MEP Estimator in a construction environment
  • Excellent analytical skills to investigate and interpret complex technical data
  • Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing
  • A collaborative and friendly approach to work
  • A dynamic environment with opportunities to manage your own priorities and deadlines
