Hotel Receptionist Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and organized Hotel Receptionist to join our team at ICC Group's Hotel Mountain Heritage and Falls Mountain Retreat. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience that sets the tone for their entire stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests with a smile and provide exceptional customer service
  • Check guests in and out efficiently and professionally
  • Assist guests with enquiries and provide local information
  • Manage reservations and handle phone calls
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times

Requirements:

  • Friendly, approachable, and loves interacting with people
  • Has a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) or willing to obtain (essential)
  • Drivers Licence to travel between sites if needed
  • Organised and detail-oriented
  • Able to multitask and handle busy situations with grace
  • Experienced in customer service (previous hotel experience is a bonus)
  • Proficient with computers and reservation systems
  • Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
