Medical Specialist Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled medical professional to provide exceptional patient care at Toowoomba Hospital.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing acute stroke cases and be able to attend daily ward rounds, conduct emergency consultations, and support junior doctors.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Attend daily ward rounds in the stroke unit to care for patients with stroke-related conditions.
  • Conduct emergency hyperacute stroke consultations to satellite hospitals.
  • Support junior doctors in providing patient care and education.

This locum position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with on-call requirements. A current specialist registration with AHPRA and provision of references and documents as required are essential.

Requirements:
  • A current signed and dated CV is mandatory.
  • A copy of current AHPRA registration is compulsory.
  • Two references no more than 12 months old are required.
  • Certified copies of Drivers Licence and passport must be provided.
