Are you passionate about teaching children the life-saving skill of swimming? We're seeking an enthusiastic Learn to Swim Instructor to join our dynamic team with an immediate start

The ideal candidate is passionate about coaching and instructing children of all ages, is reliable and able to work as part of a team following direction from School Sport Staff.

About the Position:

As a Learn to Swim Instructor, you'll be responsible for imparting essential swimming skills to children of all ages. Your energetic and patient approach will create a fun and safe learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engaging and structured swimming lessons for children.
  • Foster water confidence, stroke techniques, and water safety.
  • Tailor lessons to individual abilities and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure a safe and clean pool environment at all times.

Selection Criteria:

  • Coaching Qualification an advantage, but not mandatory
  • Current Paid Blue Card
  • Current First Aid/CPR desirable

All School staff, unless otherwise eligible for an exemption, must possess a current Positive Notice or "Blue Card" issued under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 before commencing employment with the School. Volunteer Blue Cards are required to be transferred to Paid Employment cards.
